The series of shots comprising “Utopia del Tempo” by Laura Cionci are simple, everyday gestures in the spaces of houses that seem to be forgotten. These are "suspended" in time and space; a suspension that perpetuates the present within us. Only inside, while everything outside changes and runs hysterically. This is the present condition: a great suspension, a taking of fate and holding the breath, an inhaling without exhaling until the day in which, it naturally begins again to live but in a different state, in a parallel dimension. The body is central, because it is through the present the mechanism in space that acquires importance even only in the attention to its physiological functions.
