Gesti di relazione is an ongoing project started in 2016 about relationship, investigation of images and history.
Working on the representation of the body and gestures between two people, the interest is to open up meanings of images and iconography, relating individuality whit collective imagination and perception of identity.
The iconographic references for the creation of this “catalogue” of gestures are taken by images from Grossi Maglioni personal memories such as historical and political pictures or from other artists works.
The photographic portrait represent the gesture called Carriola, as one of the gestures reenacted in the project.
