Agnieszka Szostek is a polish artist focusing on the exploration of materials such as recreation of human skin from plastic polymers. She proposes hybrid installation collages in which on and offline aesthetics are blurred mixing artificial and natural elements in singular entity. Working on materials allows Szostek to question the environment, the future and the past of humankind. The artist makes studies on the subject of the zeitgeist and about the contemporary human condition, discussions on history and one's own emotions. Her works are often made in a poetic and tender way in self developed printing technique.
