Andrija Čugurović was born and raised in the countryside of Serbia, and is currently living and working in Belgrade. The urge of expressing everyday life moments, feelings and emotions through drawing has been with him since early childhood. Čugurović finds inspirations in drawing from prehistoric and modern sculpture, medieval and West-European woodcuts, early 20th century expressionism and abstractions of Post-WWII art. Through combining these varied interests and inspirations, Čugurović has managed to create a wide spectre of diverse artworks.
